I don't have an excuse...

So i have been gone from my blog for pretty much the entire year. I kept telling myself to come back to and post stuff but it just never really happened. I have been active somewhat one youtube still but i just left my blog alone. I am here to announce though that i will be trying to do more upkeep with my blog. I will be trying to post more on here.

I will be using my blog for swatches and things things like that for the most part. also just life updates. that is one of my goals to update my blog more often. So whenever i get more blog worthy content to blog about i will be blogging. can i say blog somemore? lol.

I think i may do reviews on here too. I haven't really thought out what i'm going to be using my blog for but i know i'm going to be using it more often.

if you have continued to visit my blog even when i didn't update thank you for that. I will now be giving you something worthy to come back to too.

winter nails!!

PRODUCTS USED

HOW I DID IT!!

first i applied a base coat. the one i use is from NK. the only place i have ever seen it was at beauty supply stores. Be free to use any base coat of your choice.

Next. i mixed white and silver, in this case Sinful Colors nail art in Bad Chick and Sally Hansen in Pumping Iron, together to make a silver-y white.

I painted 2 coats of that to get a very opaque coverage.

Since Cinderella is more of a sheer color i actually painted a coat of it over the silver-y white since it was only being used to make the colors pop and show better.

once that dried i took Sinful Colors Cinderella and Wet N Wild Blue Moon and put them on a sponge to create a gradient nail.

i took a bit more Cinderella to try to fade the Blue Moon a bit.

Once i got the gradient the way that i liked i put a single layer of top coat to smooth out the gradient.

After that dried i took that same white and silver mixture and drew simple snowflakes on my nails.

I also too the end of a q-tip and took the cotton off. I used the end of the stick as a dotting tool to resemble falling snow.

once all that dried i took a coat of LA Colors sassy sparkle glitter nail polish and put that on to give the snow a glistening effect.

once everything was dry i took NYC long wearing extra shiny top coat and put a few good coats on.

i then cleaned up around my cuticles of all polish.
